LEIGH TURNER
Leigh Turner is a 4th generation native "Inner loop" Houstonian. She
joined
the ranks of realtors in 2007 as a residential resale and town home
specialist in the very same area. With two parents involved in the real
estate industry and one who is part of the Greenwood King team, Leigh
was
destined for this career. She's blessed with a positive attitude,
market knowledge and accessibility work in her favor in the real estate
industry. She also prides herself in good negotiation skills,
commitment
and putting her clients first.
Leigh graduated from the University of Texas with a BS in business and a
MS in
Business Accounting. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas as
well. Leigh worked for Ernst &
Young from 2004 to 2007 as a Senior Auditor where she gained experience
and
exposure in various industries ranging from oil and gas, health
services,
real estate, and financial services. As a result, each successful real
estate transaction she closes benefits from her professional
experiences in the financial world.
Leigh's a member of the Junior League of Houston,
volunteers as a docent of Museum of Natural Science, teaches weekly CPR
classes, and sits on the alumni board for the St. John's School. Her
family
and friends are the most important part of her life coupled with living
life to the fullest and truly enjoying each day!
In her spare time, Leigh's an avid reader, travels, and spends time
outdoors.
She chose Greenwood King because of their great reputation, commitment
to clients, the professional environment, and support staff; plus, she
believes
they are the most upbeat, hardest working agents in town.
When asked about her unique qualities, Leigh summarized it as follows, "
I'm
and early riser, so I try to get to the office first thing in the
morning to
start working hard for my clients. Although I specialize in
inner-loop Houston, I have a desire each day to learn new areas and
explore
all that this city has to offer. As a result, I've learned so much
about
this city I love. One of my first real estate transactions was in Katy!
When
I obtained my very first listing I was determined to do a good job for
my
client. As soon as it came on the market I spread the word of my
listing
holding it open that first day, and it went option pending only a few
hours
later! Not only was it the highest sale ever in that area (at that
time),
it sold very quickly which made my client extremely happy."
