Jackie’s Experience
After moving from her home state of California, Jackie Smyre settled into the Memorial area of Houston where she has been a resident since 1984. While raising her two children, Jackie was involved in numerous prestigious organizations, such as The Houston Junior Forum, National Charity League, as well as M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Children’s Art Project®. She is extremely knowledgeable, hardworking, pleasant and professional in every way – particularly when it comes to negotiations – thanks to her past work as a claims adjuster for a national insurance company. “I enjoy the feeling of getting the job done right and seeing the satisfaction and happiness in my clients’ lives,” says Jackie.

Jackie and Greenwood King Properties
It’s no wonder this hard working, innovative fund raiser has had great success in her real estate career at Greenwood King Properties; she initiated the first ever Parent Teacher Association’s “Write a Check” campaign at Memorial Middle School, which has become the benchmark for other PTAs and school fundraisers. She now brings that determination along with a vast knowledge of the surrounding area to her clients. “Greenwood King stands for integrity in business, and that is a personal value I hold dear,” explains Jackie. With her experience of moving from out of state to Houston – in addition to her “ABCD” (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty) approach to the business – she offers both sellers and buyers a unique and valuable perspective on the Houston real estate market.

Jackie’s Personal Side
In her spare time, you will most likely run into Jackie while walking her two dogs or at her ranch in Round Top, Texas. Married for 31 years to her husband Jay, she also enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family. Jackie is dedicated to such causes as Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®, as well as her Neighborhood Women’s Organization and is active in her church.
