MARY FRANCES DUMAY
Mary Frances Anderson DuMay, native Houstonian and fourth generation Texan, specializes in Houston’s most distinctive neighborhoods - River Oaks, West University, Southampton, Southgate, Bellaire, Tanglewood, Memorial, Montrose and The Heights. After graduating Valedictorian from Duchesne Academy, she received a B.A. in History and English from the University of Oklahoma with honors. While a student at OU, she was named to the “Top Ten List” of students every year and was in the Homecoming Court. Mary Frances worked in Boston at Northeastern University’s Center for the Study of Sport in Society as a writer and quickly was published in a sports and sociology textbook. In Atlanta, she was employed by the broadcasting team of the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG). One of her favorite memories was being selected as an Olympic Torch Bearer for the Centennial Games. After the Olympics, she moved back to Houston to take a writer/producer job at Fox Sports Net. Mary Frances then landed an on-air position as Sports Director of KACB-TV. At the time, she was one of only two female sports directors in Texas.
Mary Frances is happily married to David DuMay. They have three sons: Clayton, Conner and Patrick. The only girl is the family is Lacey Lou, their Australian Shepherd. Mary Frances plays tennis, gardens, enjoys needlepoint and traveling.
